From the VEEP
by Dayle DeClercq, Wild River Audubon Vice President
In our last campaign and election we heard a lot about social values.
We certainly have many and will be adding more in the next four years.
In the next campaign we are going to have to make a big effort to
promote environmental values. Something that bothers me is the
increasing numbers of junk vehicles being stored in people’s yards. This
to me is an example of visual pollution. I’ve been told that the price
for scrap metal has never been higher than it is now. Why don’t these
people unload this junk and make some money.
I still have some bat houses and hanging bird feeders. The bat houses
are assembled and need a coat of dark paint. The bird feeders are ready
to be used. If you are interested call Dayle at 651 257-5045.
